only if they accept Christ as their Savior will they go to Heaven. Now they may come to know Christ through different ways, but you have to accept Christ to go to Heaven. God bless!

Well it says in John 14:6 "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." That is Jesus speaking. So as you can probably see that means that one must accept Jesus and believe in his sacrifice to go to heaven. Hope that helps. God Bless.

I think they will if they accept Jesus as their Lord and personal savior. Now, God is faithful enough that if we repent from our sins, even the worst of it, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. I don't think God will hold it against a Jew just because he is a Jew. His offer of forgiveness is open for everyone whether Jew or not.

it's my understanding that before Christ died on the cross jews were to sacrifice unblemished animals as a sign of their dependence on Gods promise to deliver a perfect sacrifice, JC. so those faithful to Gods promise before the cross would go to Heaven.
those Jew who have now accepted Gods sacrifice wil go to heaven, but those who don't believe, are destined for hell, just as everyone else will who doesn't accept Gods pardon.

Ok. Here's a question its probably quite easy for you to answer but its not for me and also i really want to know the answer.
What do we actually have to do to be a christian? Do we like have to go to church every week and do bible studys things like that?
Also in Rebecca's question she used the word Predestination. What is that?
Thanks :)

Being a christian isn't about what we do, it's about who we know. The very first step in becoming a christian involves a relationship with Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 reads
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-13 reads
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

Apart from Jesus we are separated from God for eternity due to sin. Jesus tells us in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

I've quoted all that to tell you this, it's all about our relationship to Jesus. We go to church, participate in bible studies, pray, read...all in response to the love He has revealed to us. We don't do those things because we have to and we cannot earn our salvation. It is a free gift given out love.

Do you know Jesus as your Saviour? Have you ever invited Him to come into your heart, asked Him to forgive you of your sins and confessed Him as Lord of your life? I ask that in sincerity because that it where it begins. If you haven't then I would encourage you to right now. Take this moment to let Him change your eternity. It does not matter what you have or have not done in life. Scripture says that ALL who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I hope this helps you.

hey banAnna,
predestination:

Predestination (also linked with foreknowledge) is a religious concept, which involves the relationship between God and His creation. The religious character of predestination distinguishes it from other ideas about determinism and free will. Those who believe in predestination, such as John Calvin, believe that before the creation God determined the fate of the universe throughout all of time and space.

All you have to do to be a christian is acknowledge Christ sacrifice of the cross, and accept that it was primarily for God, secondly for you.

this does not mean that you HAVE to go to church, or you HAVE to do bible studies. however when you are imparted the spirit of God (the spirit of baptism/holyspirit, given when you truly repent) the signs of your being saved will come out in the form of WANTING to fellowship with other christians and WANTING to spend time with him(studies, worshiping and prayer).

you know i'm living in the flat at the way now right? if you want just leave me a note or message and i can get one of the TNT girls to help you with any study/prayer or other questions or whatever.
